Dr. Tika Lamsal; President
Dr. Tika earned his PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from University of Louisville. He teaches courses on rhetoric and composition, cross-cultural communication, and global rhetorics in both Rhetoric and Language Department and MA in Professional Communication Program. Through the lens of critical ethnography, his research examines the intersection of linguistic, cultural, and multimodal literacies of Bhutanese refugees in U.S. contexts to demonstrate how the refugees negotiate their ways to academic, cultural, and economic transition by using their linguistic and cultural repertoires in the new locale of their migration.
Sunil Rajkarnikar, Vice President
Mr. Rajkarnikar is a dynamic professional who thrives on challenges and innovation. With extensive experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry and as the Convenor of the Asian Cultural Festival, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the mission and growth of the Buddha Nepal Peace Foundation. Renowned for his strategic acumen in marketing, planning, and organizational development, Mr. Sunil continues to be a driving force behind the foundation’s success and long-term vision.
Dhruva Thapa, General Secretary
Mr. Thapa A passionate advocate for innovation, Mr. Thapa’s expertise in digital marketing enables him to effectively communicate the foundation’s mission to a global audience. His vision centers on leveraging digital platforms to spread messages of peace, compassion, and sustainable development bridging traditional values with contemporary communication technology.
Trailokyaswor Malla, Treasurer
Mr. Malla A visionary leader and committed innovator, Mr. Malla strategically applies his 25 years of experience in event management, along with expertise in digital marketing, design, and accounting systems, to enhance the foundation’s outreach and effectiveness. His forward-looking vision emphasizes the integration of modern technologies to foster peace, compassion, and sustainable development gracefully bridging timeless values with contemporary digital communication for impactful global engagement.
Punam Shakya, Secretary
Mr. Shakya is driven by a profound vision of a society built on the pillars of peace, mutual understanding, and collaborative action. He believes in translating the core principles of Buddhism, compassion, tolerance, and right action into tangible community programs that bridge societal divides and empower citizens.
Tulsi Chaulagain, Board of Director
Mr. Chaulagain A dedicated and compassionate social worker and Store businessman committed to promoting peace, social harmony, and community well being. As an active well wisher of the Buddha Nepal Peace Foundation, He work to encourage non-violence, mindfulness, and social upliftment rooted in Buddhist values.
Ramdevi Palikhe, Board of Director
Ms. Palikhe is a dedicated social worker and the Immediate Past President of the Lions Club of Berkeley Makalu. She also serves as an Executive Board Member of NWGN and is a former Executive Member of NANC. She holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science and has contributed to academia as a Lecturer at Pokhara Multiple Campus and Kalika Multiple Campus in Pokhara. Committed to promoting peace, harmony, and community development, she works tirelessly to uplift society. As a well-wisher of the Buddha Nepal Peace Foundation, she upholds the principles of mindfulness, compassion, and non-violence in all her endeavors to help build a kinder and more peaceful world.
